Final day of work in Tokyo, and finally got a break from the rain, so cap toes:

My original pair of Ottawa boots, showing some "battle" scars, but aging very nicely. I bought these 1/2 size large, not knowing how the last would fit at the time. With orthotics in them, they are ok, but wish I had gone 1/2 size down. Of course, there is no way I can get the same boot (leather sole) in the proper size now, so I live with them 1/2 large. Getting ready to grill for family and friends. View attachment 1042479

Those are looking great. I've been enjoying the pebbled pair a lot, but looking forward to boot season and my OG Ottawas...

Cap Toes look great and they (both colors) have essentially replaced AE in my more "formal" footwear rotation. Wonder what the shoes with the white laces in the photo are, kind of interesting.

It's from a UK fashion company "Soul Revolver". Their stuff is made in Italy. Not quite tough like heritage leather jacket company, but as fashion jacket, they're a good bargain for the price.
