I know boots have been Grant Stone’s focus in late 2023, but when do you guys think they’ll focus on loafers?

Things I’d love to see:
  • Unlined suede loafers, with or without thin rubber soles
  • A dressier last for loafers

Looking to pick up my first pair of GS diesels I am uncertain of sizing since the website says to order half size down but since I wear a 13D will going a full size down be too small? Any advice would be appreciated.

Half size down from brannock sizing is usually quite appropriate. Has worked well for me. If you have a wider foot, consider the E alternative of the same size.

Thanks for the input I was just curious since they do not have an option for a 12.5 so I might just stick to a regular size 13.

Size 12E should be a little bit shorter than 12.5 would be and a little bit wider than 12.5 would be. In other words, if your feet are a little on the wide size, 12E might be a perfect "half size down" for you. That is, if size 13D IS your Brannock size (it is not necessarily "what you wear" since athletic shoes are often small for their size requiring one to upsize them from Brannock).

The new year has been good gents! I found my perfect size in the Leo last. These particular pair in my size gave me the feeling I hear about so much on here. This Kudu has so much character already and the boots are immaculate. Everyone here knows I look closely at my boots, and these are no exception. I have nothing but happiness for this pair. They are perfect!
