Got my first boot and my first cordovan all in one package! Their maiden voyage:

Thanks guys! The picture doesn't quite show their true color...it's more of a milk chocolate/whisky color IRL. I was fortunate to get these beauties because I wasn't in on the original MTO group. It helps to have the same size foot as Steve, especially when the wifey tells him "no more shoes!" Since I'm not married, I don't have to worry about "happy wife happy life" just yet so I grabbed them from him.

The socks are from Nice Laundry. They aren't the most expensive, and probably aren't up to SF standards, but when I can get 24 pairs, for $99 (or $4 a pair), and their colors/patterns are nice, it was hard to pass it up. Since I wear dress socks almost 7 days a week, I didn't want to spend $20-50 on one pair

Eventually you will marry and then master the art of hiding shoes from your wife. Slowly rotating new pairs into your daily routines. Unfortunately, my wife works in retail and notices all new shoes. I have been reduced to..."sale was too good to pass up" or "these have been in the closet forever, just haven't worn them very often."

I've successfully went from one shelf of cedar shoe rack to six without much notice since I bought her the same to organize her shoes. She did notice when I got the navy greeleys though
