Kind hearts and coronets. I have to grin all the way through this except for when I'm laughing out loud.

I don't know if it was solely the movie or if it had to do with the mood I was in that day, but I don't remember ever laughing as much in a theater as when I saw Wedding Crashers. I was laughing so hard that I missed a bunch of lines.

I also thought Hot Fuzz was hilarious and I just couldn't stop cracking up.

I like Le Placard, Les Comperes and OSS 117 as recent(ish) French comedies.

Airplane and The Naked Gun both crack me up.

Loved it until the final shoot 'em up scene. YARB??!

I probably do not have a clearly defined "comedy" in my personal list of funniest movies. For instance, Snatch is easily in my top five picks. Another movie that makes me laugh is Tin Cup.

Le Placard was pretty good - not hilarious but witty. It's interesting to note that very few French comedies make it to the US but both le Placard and OSS 117 made the cut. Les Compères is a classic, and so are Le Père Noel est une Ordure and Les BronzÃ

Le Placard was hilarious but Le Diner de Cons was even funnier - I am laughing just thinking about it. Les Visiteurs and Les Trois Freres are also LOL funny. My other two favorite french comedies are Je suis timide mais je me soigne and Rabbi Jacob. I just bought a box set of Pierre Richard DVDs with Les Comperes, Les Fugitifs and La Chevre.
