FRIDAY CHALLENGE MAY 29 2015: Dress like a Fruit...or Vegetable

[An Acute Style]

For this Friday Challenge, your job is to dress like a fruit or vegetable. A sport coat or suit is required, but ties are optional. Each contestant must also submit a picture of the fruit or vegetable he's trying to emulate.

I hope this challenge will produce some nice fits.

My wife made tarts.

This was truly a challenge. Peach on the ground under a blue sky with some minor clouds.
The trousers are rarely worn with SC and tie but gets a lot of airtime in the summer.

For the Challenge, then - Attire and comestible.

Today I am a Salak "Snake Skin" fruit.


Liverano jacket. NSM trousers. Simone Abbarchi shirt. Sam Hober pocket square. And a pair of Saint Crispin's wingtips.

I missed the the "orange" challenge last week, but fortunately, orange is also a fruit, so thanks for giving me a second chance.

I come bearing fruit...of the citrus variety.

My girlfriend had to come sneak a few shots of me on a smoke break at work. Missed opportunity with the missing pocket silk, didn't even realize I didn't have one until halfway through the day, and then when I got home I realized my tie chain had fallen off! Damn it all, damn it all to hell! Just like these berries... I just wan't quite ready.

Ooh, I like kiwi, good combination of colors. Easy enough to make brown and green of various shades play nicely together.

This is fine by me, but I think the blue shirt and windowpane are detracting from the kiwi colors.
