I bought a Barbanera western shirt that I really like, but I'm trying to decide if it's too small. The next size up is sold out. I think it's ok, but I often make the mistake of buying too small. Would really appreciate some opinions.

Size looks okay but I’d suggest wearing that shirt tucked. I don’t think it’s intended to be an overshirt. Also, part of the fun of a Western shirt is the opportunity to wear an interesting belt.

For untucked, looks too tight in the mod section.
So you're saying I need to lose weight. 🥲

Just kidding, yes, it's the midsection that I'm worried about. Thanks for the replies.

Any suggestions for alternatives? I like the wash, fabric weight, button color, subtle stitching, and sawtooth pockets. I've been on the hunt, and this is the best I've found. Maybe I should just stop drinking beer for two months.
