it's a bit earlier this year, but for those with the stamina, the 2013-14 league is ready.

With only 100.0 in starting capital, it will be a mediocre team indeed for those who go with both RvP and Bale from the beginning. I think we are 17 teams in the competition now, a couple of seasons ago I remember we had more than 60 teams. What's happening with the world?

My guess
Moyes - Manchester United - remember how badly things went after Sir Matt Busby - fail
Martinez - Everton - relegated Wigan but now has a stronger squad - tread water
Mourhino - Chelsea - knows the ropes - succeed
Pellegrini - Manchester City - happy campers - succeed
Hughes - Stoke - needs to start well - fail

No certainty on Man City players
Bale probably not playing and Soldado an unknown
Rooney uncertain
Suarez out

Basically the tried and tested big hitters are a minefield this year

I haven't bought Soldado, but I think he'll be a solid bet. I've like him in La Liga over the last few years.

For last season's first round I had new-comers Hazard, Cazorla, Podolski. This season I haven't dared to go with any new players except one cheap returnee (guess who). Was tempted to try Altidore at 7.0 but not sure it is ever wise to bet on Sunderland to do well. And Soldado at 9.5 seems expensive.
