Someone emailed me and asked how a full suit in silk dupioni would look. Now our swatch color is emerald and not blood red.. but here’s an idea of it:

So needless to say, a full emerald dupioni suit would be the most baller thing possible. Especially for when the going gets tough.

@Epaulet Two more questions from the IG chat:

Will there be stock of the Camerton Sandows a la the RC's or will they stay MTO only?

Can you give us any more details about the LA made EZ Pants? Same shape as the Hertling ones? Any linen or linen/cotton ones coming for the summer? My khyber cloth ones from last year are maybe my favorite pants.

@Duke Silver

Yes, we'll offer stock in the Sandows beginning in a month or so. Mostly Cramerton cloth. We've had a lot of demand for it, so just playing catch-up with that.

The new EZ Pant will have a similar shape to the Hertling product, but a much simpler waistband and construction. It will be largely made like the Rivet Chino on the inside. It's going to include a self-belt, just like the OG model.

Now, fabrics are going to be different. The good part about LA: we can make the belt and the price drops by about 20% or more. I want to hit about $145-$150 in nice cottons. The bad part: we don't have access to all of the Hertling fabrics. If there's a linen or blend, there's going to be like one option, probably navy or natural. I'd have to source that on my own. More likely, I'll work with great chino twills and look into washing and dye effects. And Sashiko is a given once we nail down the shape.

@Epaulet speaking of Chelsea will you be running those again? I've been looking for a casual pair of Chelsea boots (non dressy style) to pair with Rivets and the only one's I've found are Viberg...but not looking to drop 6-700 for these.

@Epaulet I'd be in for a pair of your chelseas for the same reason as tricky. Would prefer a return to the tan/snuff color rather than the most recent run.

It says the Dartmouth is made with an unlined body, does that mean butterfly lined or completely unlined? Would prefer the latter if it's possible.

Only the sleeves are lined.

Hi all,

A year ago I bought the Epaulet chelsea boots in oxblood leather. They have been worn maybe twice a week last winter and this fall and winter. Today I just noticed that the sole near the heel of the right boot is coming off. I'm pretty disappointed. Has anyone else had this occur with their Epaulet chelsea boots? What are my options?

I don't own those, but it's the most common failure point I've had with shoes with that kind of construction IME and is a pretty quick fix.

Speaking of the oxblood horse leather, I realize this may be kind of a long shot, but any chance of giving the Specialist combat trainer another go? I feel like that hide + a black lugged trainer sole would be pretty great, and I'm still kinda itching for a pair. Not sure if the factory would need to work up a sample before it's a viable option.

Having to take some deep breaths and tell myself that I DO NOT want to order a emerald dupioni suit. Let's get this round of orders closed so I'm no longer tempted... :eh:

That's the thing. Emerald green silk works as separates too!

Really the thing holding me back is I'm not quite sure about the tone. Slightly subtler would be better, but it's so hard to judge how something with such a deep/strong color is going to makeup from a swatch.
