Peat muti check from the last round of FF jackets. Of a dozen jackets(not all Epaulet), this one is my favorite. Trousers are burgundy hopsack Walts. I was posting so that buyers would have a chance to see it in action, but it appears to have sold out.

And a fit, since I haven't posted one in a while:

Southwick Navy Hopsack Caine
Epaulet Cutaway Collar Popover (the one that started them all..)

Hmm, I'm not sure exactly. But as we get closer to the date, we can always take a preorder on it too. I imagine that they'll arrive sometime in mid August.
Oh yes, I can't say enough good things about that. Much like LBM is a really perfect soft, garment-washed jacket, this Barena piece is a really perfect sweater sportcoat. Looks way more sportcoat than sweater, and really holds it shape. I wore the hell out of it.

I don't know if this is the exact piece that we're getting, but it looks very close to this. I ordered it in a few colors:

Very nice fit on you and a classic looking jacket. This is a look so many try and try to achieve.

Really, with the fall sport coats coming, these FF options, and what I already have from EP, I may need to adopt an all sport coat all the time dress code. :)

Thanks for posting - although I went with the Loden/orange, I was hoping to see some more of this jacket in the wild. Looks great.

The jacket looks perfect on you - thanks for posting the pic! It's a nice match to the burgundy trousers too.

What's the price on this going to be? Need to start saving the pennies.

I believe that it's around $600, kind of like L.B.M. 1911. We'll spin the whole story when it launches - it's a great piece.

Is their any chance we'll see more Eisenhower jackets this fall?

Oh absolutely. It's coming back in the same Navy Melton wool as last year, and we're going to introduce it in a charcoal herringbone Harris Tweed too.

And also: Matt is in the process of officially resurrecting the late, great Epaulet CPO jacket. We're making some tweaks, and just got a final production sample this week! We'll definitely have it for this Fall.

I just wanted to join the chorus of praise for this. I have looked many times at that swatch, on the first round of FFs and again just recently. Of course, it is now too late. I think if I had seen this picture a few days ago I would have grabbed it. Perhaps I will learn my lesson some day. Anyhow, a great SC. I like the elbow patches with it.

Edit: I have just seen that the cream/goldenrod is now gone as well. And the mint lavender exploded check. Sigh.
