And what if you want your Indigo Sashiko to fade like a MFer? What do you do then? I don't wanna put pumice stones into my dryer if I don't have to.

I imagine wear it constantly. Wear it to bed. Wear it for an ocean swim.

I imagine after doing that for awhile you can just give it a wash and not need any pumice stones. Just like a pair of denim. :p

Just got my ivory seersucker. Went up a size and fit is fine with me just needing to bring in the waist. This fabric though.

Is it supposed to be see through? I thought it would be more opaque. I have a seersucker shirt in navy and maybe that's why it's different but on these ivory seersuckers you can see the pockets and all. I suppose it's my own fault for not knowing the nature of the beast but curious to see how others are gonna rock this then.

Question for all the denim heads here, and asking here since all my good denim is Epaulet. Worth it to get the laundry soap that is made for denim specifically? Or just dark Woolite? Want to keep mine looking good long as possible. Have a pair of the Ring-Ring, and some of the navy overdye, and maybe some regular denim. What have you guys found is best to use? I've been using the Woolite Dark but it's time to replace it.

Woolite dark is fine. If you soak in tub, inside out, then gently squeeze excess water and hang dry you’ll be fine. The agitation of a washing machine has the potential to cause some uneven fading.
I’ve used Woolite, Mr Black denim wash, The Laundress denim wash and regular old detergent and honestly haven’t ever noticed a difference. However, I believe the denim-specific detergents are less harsh and in the long run the way to go. Don’t use Tide, ever, on anything.

I use regular detergent, but wash my jeans inside out. It’s fine

IMO denim looks best worn and washed and dried and balled up and kicked and on and on.

Regular detergent, washed inside out. Dried in the dryer. Ironed if I don’t pull them out in time and there are significant wrinkles.

What’s wrong with Tide? I like it. I am currently using some organic stuff that BBBY sells, but Tide has been my go to otherwise.

Unless you're regularly dealing with bloody, muddy or grease-stained clothes (Farmer? Street Fighter? Serial Killer?) you really don't need the harsh chemicals in Tide.
