Yeah, I was there around 5. Meetup-wise, I'm generally available Friday evenings and most weekends. Going to be out of town a lot of them in November though...

Kafka looks like the first folks to receive the field parka. Bizarre shoulder-centered zipped "map" pocket reminds me of slightly older EG stuff.

Random note: I went to the party for Jack Straw's new (since spring) space today. Always nice to see people in real life dressed in EG. Picked up a pair of the brown herringbone wool cinch pants. 3rd pair of EG pants I've bought this season - really can't get enough. Would still love to do an EG/SF meetup in Seattle one of these days...

Jack straw is such a great store. They always have good EG buys season after season. Do you know what size they had in brown herringbone cinch pants? I am looking for size 30 and was wondering if they still have them in size.
Thank you in advance!

I bought a 32 and there was also a 34 on the shelf. They might have more sizes though, because I don't think all sizes were put out. Maybe call?

Meet up at dunns or elysian, all the beer would make for less akwardness

Agreed. Or at least somewhere similar.

Pleased that I managed to pick-up the FW12 Field Parka recently, without a doubt the best version I can remember seeing. The '13 and '14 versions have both been disappointing IMO.

Have a pic of the FW12 one? What do you like better about it, compared to the last few seasons' iteration?
