You're doing a really good work with the pictures @EFV

I suppose it's not exactly what Pitti is known for, but with the amount of different styles that are a bit more out there I'm a little surprised by the almost complete lack of more voluminous pants worn in a "modern"/runway type of way.

Sir, you are truly one of the most remarkable people we have ever met in Florence (well, anywhere actually).

Such a beautiful coat and cloth!

Any guesses about the fabric and source of this tie?

Someone please help to tell us!

The coat is from Eidos with Donegal tweed fabric. Tie is from Exquisite Trimmings @davesmith and is made in some kind of raw silk. None of them are available anymore as they are from the AW14, though they could be available as made to measure from Eidos or bespoke from Exquisite Trimmings.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
