Kiwi polish? That's what EG used to use for antiquing.

Speaking of which, has anyone had luck recently with the GlenKaren successor, www.purepolishproducts.com ? The website says they're completely out of stock, and they're not responding to e-mails.

So I've just acquired my first pair of EG's (from Ebay I confess). They are in great shape, look great... but smell terrible. For a few days I wondered if somehow my baby's dirty diaper made its way into my office. Eventually I realized it was the shoe! I can't imagine has anything to do with Edward Green. Still, if you have any suggestions. It is a bit of chemical smell...

Were they pre-owned/worn several times by the previous owner?

That is my worst nightmare and why I've always steered clear of used shoes...until just recently and got lucky with a virtually new pair of vibergs. I often browse ebay but the thought of smelly shoes is frightening.

Maybe my first time posting in here since the SF update. Most of my dress shoes/boots were upgraded last year to EG, and this year my focus has shifted to upgrade my wardrobe to match.

Wearing my tobacco Dovers today which were bought from @merv49 (someone buy his Galways!) Maybe not a shade as versatile as coffee/snuff suede, but can't beat these for warm/sunny weather.
