I visited a local men's store today and among their sale items I found a store labeled suit with a Cerruti 1881 fabric tag. The manufaturers tag inside the pocket, along with all of the sizing and model information, said it was made in China. The suit was well made with functional buttons on the sleeves, some of what appeared to be hand stitching (you can't be to sure any more and no I didn't ask if I could cut it open) so I asked the shop owner who made it for him. He told me it was made by Cerruti after they had closed their factory in Italy and reopened in China. He said the factory has since been closed by the chinese government.
