I think Tom Ford is a good brand if you're a guy with a pretty good physique and money, and you just want to buy stuff that looks good without putting too much thought into it. Yes, that's pretty bland for guys like us. I kinda hope Haider just goes in there and takes a blowtorch to it
All the tailoring screams “Tom Ford.” Basically just statements of affluence. Not a bad look but as well have a TF embroidered on the chest pocket.

For sure. I have some Haider blazers which are beautiful and definitely special. Tom Ford tailoring on the other hand has that "what men should wear" vibe, which then seems a little boring comparitively.

I don't know much about Haider. Are there any collections of images - Instagram accounts or websites to look at? Thanks.

Seconded on the runway pics. Early menswear (2014/2015) is mostly considered the "golden age" for Haider from what I've seen. Later collections are still very good though.

It's not generic though. It's always been 70s playboy from the start, carrying on from his revival of Gucci from overly licensed duty free brand.

BREAKING: Nike CEO John Donahoe to Step Down. The embattled chief executive will make way for Elliott Hill, a Nike veteran who had retired from the brand in 2020.

In a nutshell, something that has been talked about for at least a year and a half now:

"
Frustrations with this leadership grew as Nike was criticised for a lack of product innovation, an over-reliance on retro sneakers and an acceleration of Nike’s pivot away from wholesale, which saw it lose customers and create opportunities for competitors. His status as a relative outsider to the brand and his non-product background — he was formerly CEO of Bain and eBay — became a growing point of contention for insiders and investors alike.

In recent months, Nike had begun to address some of the core issues critics said were hampering the brand, but by that point sales were on course to fall to a low not seen by Nike in decades. In June, Nike projected a mid-single-digit percentage decline for the year through May 2025, after reporting just 1 percent growth in its most recent fiscal year. If that forecast bears out, it will be the company’s worst performance in 26 years."

I think the source of the problem is this "Ceo of Bain". Just continues to show that most consultants don't know sh1t other than financial engineering.

The endless growth will continue until morale improves!
