Do you know how the 325 last compares to the 335 last? I tried looking at pictures on the C&J website but I couldn't really tell. Basically I was planning to buy the Skye II cordovan boots, but I heard that they were a bulbous last. I have the C&J Chelsea V boots and think they are too bulbous for a shoe with brogueing. I have the AE Daltons and those are perfect, very sleek, which is what I want. Seems like the Lindricks fit that bill.
Also, do you know if the sizing is the same between 325 and 335 last?
I'm quoting the above post because I'm also interested in the same question.
I usually take a UK9/US10 in shoes.
I have a pair of Marlow wingtips in US10 and they fit very well, with little bit of wiggle room at the sides of my feet. I know that the Marlows are on C&J's 325 last. I also have a pair of the C&J for RL Marlow penny loafers in US10 and they fit me well, too.
I'm thinking of purchasing a pair of C&J Skye II boots in shell. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to try them on, so it's going to be a mail-order exercise if I get them. The Skye II is on the 335 last and comes in UK sizing.
Could people please chime in with their thoughts and experience? If I'm usually a UK9 and take a US10 in the 325 last, what size should I go for in the Skye II (which has UK sizing)? Usual size? Or go up or go down half-a-size?
