I have much experience with BoDs. The infighting can be bloody.

Believe me, I have first hand experience with this, one of my least favorite parts of my job is any sort of interaction of any kind with the BoD, as one usually ends up drawn into nightmarish political struggles that make almost every item horribly painful..
