i was at the store in boston tonight and i noticed they carried a real nice looking peacoat for around 300 dollars. i can get the student discount there which is 20 percent off, that takes the price down to 240. worth the price?

this brings it around the price range of the uniqlo +j peacoat which i am also considering for a winter coat. does anyone have any experience with their quality of wool?

NAVY OR GREY?!

Ha, just noticed on their website CM is displaying WOLVERINE 1000 mile boots. Wonder if the store in TO will carry them. I haven't even seen the McNairy bucks in the stores.

I'd wait. In a few weeks it will probably drop in price. Coats tend to stick around longer, so wait and you might be able to get it for half price. As for colour, maybe gray. Last season they had a navy blue peacoat, but this seasons looks darker which I don't think looks as good.

I like the navy suit, but I think winter tends to have the better items.

Are there any trench coats in beige this season? I saw a navy one, but really want in beige.

there's a single breasted 3/4 length beige trench here at a local store, probably from spring. I think it's nylon. IIRC maybe $60-70 instead of $150-200? Interested? I can check for your size and proxy

How much do the wool trousers retail for? I'm looking for some cheap (<$100) wool trousers for this winter.

The trousers seem to be on the expensive side, around $130 if I recall correctly. Much more expensive than the chinos which are like $69.50.
