Hi guys, just popped into a clarks store in London and I tried this DB, I am between 9.5 and 10. Tried 8.5 just out of curiosity from display and it was ok, wide enough, a bit tight when stepping at the part where is the stitching is (the part that has the strings holes stitched to the vamp)Tried size 9 out of the box, nice fit, relaxed, heel a bit slippery if not tied up properly.
Both were sizes in G. The seller said they don't sell F any more.
I am here thinking that maybe a 9F would be just perfect for me.
How much would they stretch in time? Should I get the tight fit or just perfect out of the box? F or G? Where can I try a F?

I've been wanting to give the conservative business dress a try. I decided to get suede. I have to order them because they're hard to find in my area.

I think these are defective though. The heel on one shoe is cupped. It flattens out when I step but makes a bit of a suction sound when walking. Has anyone seen something like this before? Its possible it will stay flat over time but i'm trying to decide if its better to just order another pair and return these.

Hello! Quick question. What can I use to condition and clean these new Bushacre boots? The one on the left was a beeswax color and I used a leather balsam. As you can see, it turned it into a really dark brown. What can I use that that won't change the color? I was thinking this but idk.

What do you guys suggest? Thanks!

I've had good luck with Bick 4 for light conditioning without changing color.

Its just a light conditioner, I don't think it has any water repellant properties. Be sure to test in a small less visible spot first to know if you're ok with the results.

Lexol is good for cleaning.

Hello DB lovers! Instead of buying new Bushacre boots, I gave my current ones a new look. They have new laces and now they have the DB tag that goes on the laces. So you can say they're now half Desert Boots and half Bushacres in a way lol. What do you guys think??

They came with them but Clarks also supplied a matching pair in maple for a less adventurous look.

What's the deal with this? Bought Clarks Original beeswax from Amazon. The one on the left was two big, I ordered half a size down. The one on the right was just right size wise but looks like a different color. Both say beeswax on the box and on the sticker on the bottom of the shoe.

The one on the left is made in Vietnam, the one on the right is made in China.

Any thoughts? Is there a long term quality difference?

Looking for opinions. I got these dark brown bushacre 2 from Amazon. Directly, not through a third party. I'm not sure if I just expect to much, but these are supposed to be new. The creasing on the toe box is what really annoys me. There are light scratches, a scuff mark on the toe, and it looks like someone walked outside with them as there is some slight discoloration on the sole.

^they look like a customer return. Unless you bought them from the Warehouse section then I'd swap them.

I thought I'd share all my Desert boots..

Oakwood suede, first pair, about 3 years old.

Red Oak leather I picked up at a second hand store, an amazing find.

Woolrich/Beeswax

Goverall suede/wool Desert Duffle

And lastly,

Desert Gent, got them on sale

I apologize for lack of picture clarity!
