yeah, pretty much anything goes with denim. its the khaki pairing thats always more tricky.

Anyone have a problem cleaning them?

I tried using the Kiwi Cleaner and after following the directions (wiping dry with a clean cloth and scrubbing after) it left me with an uneven color (several spot). Has anyone else used this and have this happen?

So about to buy them...what size should I get? These shoes aren't avalibable where I live so I don't have a chance to try them on

If I were you, I'd go for an 8.5D. I wear 10s in Sperry Top Siders, don't know if the boat shoes fit differently.

whats your measured size? I measure 9D but 8D fits me perfect, with about a thumbnail to spare on the big toe.

I say whatever your measured size is go down 1 from there.

I disagree, I like to wear my worn in sand desert boots with chinos all the time, they look good with a stone grey pair I have. They also look good with cords, dark brown or black...

I wear DBs of all colors with chinos of all colors. I enjoy mixing them up, and they never look wrong. I wear sand, grey, dark brown, and wolf interchangably with olive green, stone, white, blue, tan, and brown khakis/chinos.

I tried them with a pair of gray and they looked OK I guess...Just not my bag. Its no big deal.

In terms of sizing/stretching, do the boots stretch out in length and width? I tried on a 6.5 at the store which fit perfectly but the salesman and this thread say the boot stretches out about a half-to-full size. The 6 was way too tight in terms of width. If the 6.5 doesn't get much longer, I might go with that.
