Huge fan of the silhouettes this season, like the fluid shapes of the field jackets and parkas, the kimono-sleeved blazers, the cuffed pants. Not as adventurous as SS14 in terms of color and pattern, but I feel like he made up for it with his experiments in tailoring/cut.

contrary to shah, i actually like a lot of the pockets. i haven't always liked them in the past, but they work for me throughout this collection. still some kinda blah looks here and there (most of the black stuff i didn't much care for) but generally i'm a fan

The outerwear and trouser cuts as always are on point, but I still can't get on board with his tailored jackets. Silhouette of the trench and shorts is a killer.

I wish there was just one stockist in Australia

Agreed Naka - his pants especially I'd love to try and and see how they work (or don't) for me.

@Naka yeah CL's two-button blazers in particular have zero waist suppression, which asks me to unlearn so much of how I expect a jacket to fit. But I feel like he makes it work, mostly by keeping the shoulders narrow and the armholes high-ish

It looks like The Corner ships to Australia, no? I guess taxes/duties would make it prohibitive :(

@Bam!ChairDance We don't cop import tax unless the item is valued over 1k.
I can't really afford his clothes right now, so I'd want to fondle them and try them on before convincing myself to kop. I've been visiting Hermés and seeing his work there(which is great) but that is even more expensive, no way I'm talking myself into that stuff :embar:

Gotcha. If you're interested, you can find his stuff for really cheap on Yoox. A good deal of it sinks to <$200. Only challenge is copping it before Toasty does :tounge:

Thanks for the heads up man. I think I'm closer to your size so it looks like we're competing now hahaha.

Thankfully, we only pay import taxes/duties in Australia if the value of the import is over AUD$1000 (about USD$950). Unfortunately, the government has been talking about lowering that limit, mainly due to pressure from domestic retailers.

Is there anything that Abbot won't ruin?
