Question on the length sizes for jackets: from your description it mentions body length is extended by 5cm. Does that also mean the buttoning point has been lowered by 5cm?

I need the L sizes due to length of my arms, but the body of the jacket is too long. I would like to shorten it by a tailor, but too much will throw off the proportions. Ideally it would be reduced by 4cm but perhaps 2.5cm is a safer bet. Patch pockets will be moved upwards as well.

Then why not just lengthen the sleeve a little?

Closing button is also lower on a long size.

@kevinsvindland I've always had to pass on Cavour's clothing because I'm just tall enough at 6'3 that your sizing is too short for me in critical areas (like sleeve lengths). I was surprised and excited to get a Cavour email this morning re: extended sizes but disappointed to see that it's only for tailored jackets.

Consider this as registering an interest in your doing the same for your shirting (mostly for sleeves) and trousers (rise and length). Would love to revisit Cavour as a future option if those were available.

Wow you really are just over the limit. I got a Mod 2 suit in 52 which fits absolutely perfectly off the rack at 6'2".

Long jackets have been available since last year, as well as high rise mod 3 trousers 😉
You really missed it all

I’m 6’3 and the long sizes are actually too long jackets! In the body only though, the sleeves are quite right. Pants come unhemmed so you are fine with a regular size. Extended sleeves on the shirts would indeed be interesting.

Exactly, just over in most things. Plus, it's not just my height, my arms are apparently about +.5" longer than almost all RTW in my 40/41'ish size. That said, I'm happy with being tall'ish, it just reduces my shopping options.
