For whatever it's worth — I ended up getting the oat Shetland sweaters and I'm very happy with it.
Weather finally gets cool enough to wear my grey brushed Shetland tomorrow, I'll let everyone know how it wears day-to-day. Probably with a white OCBD underneath? Not sure

They have some striped rugby shirts up on the preview page, might be of interest to those into the preppy look. I might have to grab one

Are there any high rise casual chinos/khakis planned for this season? The new pattern for the high rise contemporary dress trousers is the best fitting OTR trouser I've been able to find for myself.

I believe the S&M account here said they did plan on dropping high rise chinos, mostly in earth tone colors (greens/browns/etc).

Hey guys,

Do any of you have the Blue Melange Dress Shirt? Any live pics? :)

I have the older grey melange one. Not sure if this is the same material (looks very similar), but that is one shirt I would not buy again. The fabric wrinkles like crazy and is impossible to keep looking sharply pressed. That might be the single shirt I bought from S&M out of about 25 that I don't love.

I gotta say, the suede trucker jacket may be one of the best things SM has made.

It’s so damned nice, well made and quality suede, and at that price it punches above its weight like crazy. So glad I picked it up. I paired it with Unmarked suede Chelsea boots in a similar colour and what a wonderful look. Would love to see more like this from SM.

I didn't like it - the suede was very stiff, like a cardboard. I want something supple

This here is a beautiful navy suit. Shade’s a touch darker than the images. Also, heavier and more robust than the Marling High Twist. My favourite of the two. Definitely recommended if you’re after a navy suit this season. Again, pity it isn’t fully lined, like my Drago S160. Otherwise it’d be perfect!

Just throwing out there, something I'd like to see in the future at least as a fabric option is a heavy weight diamond pattern tweed like this vintage burberry.

Marling & Evans offers a diamond pattern in undyed wool which you can have made through S&M's MTO service.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
