Why are hems getting larger, I'm seeing this often in cheaper stores too. It's doesn't look balanced, but apart from that it's cool.
Yes in general i saw that at Colhays. They dont have a perfect eye proportions and style artisants. It doesnt help the mid portion of the garment that also it seems shorter than usual - total back length. But definitely helps the shorter and mid height customers and the price is unbeatable
But other than that its a lovely pattern, build and colour. Maybe someone here bought one since they have it for couple of years

A lovely style in a wool and cashmere blend by Colhay's.

These are my favorite cable knits. I have the navy and dark brown. FYI, the hem thickness is not as noticeable with the darker colors, but it is fine to me anyway. To me this is much better than that same generic cable knit pattern that you see on 80+% of other cable knits.

After searching pretty extensively for shorter sweaters, I'm going with Rubato's v-neck. I want to wear a shirt under it.

The only other two that maybe fit the bill are Bryceland's and Heimat, but both don't have v-neck models.

Understood. As I mentioned they (and I discovered Brycelands) are the only ones offering shorter lengths which I want.
I believe @DorianGreen is on the right track with the Rubato suggestion. In an interview with Simon years ago, the Rubato guys mentioned that they were pursuing a shorter, boxier, tapered aesthetic (Simon's blog). I took a look at their site, but selections are all standard solids.

I agree. It's Rubato, just need to re-arrange the budget.

Not properly my style, a bit too casual, but I quite like this Hooped Rugby Cashmere Sweater by Begg. Lovely colours.

I dont think there is a hawick cashmere brand.
In general Hawick is a town (aka cashmere home) from Scotland where are mills and artisans where Hawico , Pringles of Scotland, Begg etc build their yarns/garments.
For example Todd & Duncan spin cashmere yarns in their Loch Mill in Kinross, Scotland.
