It's an M size, 53 cm pit to pit, tubular construction (without side seams). Very good, contemporary fit (rather snug).

I'm particularly fond of the finishing at the seam on the shoulders.

The colour is best seen in the last picture. I'm pretty much bothered by the bad colour return in my phone pictures (colours unfaithful, taking a greyish hue): anybody knows how to solve the issue?

Malo sweater. Just a good sweater. Definitely a good product but kinda bigger fit than the other italian brands possibly.

Here your pictures also show a difference in the colour: which one is more accurate?

Actually the fit could be variable, according to the production time. Currently the Malo knits have a pretty trim fit. Other garments I bought more than 20 years ago are looser, what is generally called a traditional fit.

So my Rubato Cashmere Roll Neck in Cloud arrived.

This is a very nice piece of knitwear, which I would recommend. It is 3 ply, well constructed, nice dense hand feel. Colour is also nicer in real life than my pictures possibly suggest. Just need to decide on the fit.

Thanks for posting. I'm pretty much attracted by Rubato's style, but somewhat unsure whether it would suit me well. The garment seems very well finished, even though I'm not a fan of that quite strong seam on the shoulders. How does it fit you with the shorter length? They say, it's a rather boxy cut, is it really?

I actually quite like the shoulder seam, gives it a bit of individuality but it is very much down to personal preference.

In terms of fit, I went for a size medium, which would be my usual size for most knitwear. I am 5ft 10inches tall and 78kg in weight, with an athletic build (so broader in shoulder and chest).

I was anticipating a more boxy / roomy fit but overall it is a nice fit relative to my proportions which may in reality be boxier on others. I could do with a fraction more in sleeve length (but that is often an issue for me due to broader shoulders). Sleeves themselves are a nice trim fit, not baggy.

Body length is obviously shorter than the norm, as advertised, but depending on your height nothing overly dramatic. It wouldn’t work with low rise jeans, unsurprisingly, but should work well for many who prefer more minimal bunching around the waist and wear mid or high rise trousers.

Given the shorter length and size chosen there is probably less room to hide a larger stomach if that is one’s body composition.

Overall actually quite a flattering fit.
