I thignk it comes all down to ride height. I had a marketing professor who said the same thing and asked the women of the MBA class, and it was almost unanimous they drove SUVs primarily due to ride height.

They're the most likely buyer of a wagon or hatch to use as the family car, do it makes sense that hatches and wagons aren't more popular. That and I think there is a cultural status thing with SUVs which is why vans have fallen out of favor.

Huh. Interesting.

No, had the E93 convertible coupe. It was a great car but a knee crusher for backseat passengers, and just not a great driving experience for my kids..

How old are they? 3 series (E90) are ok until they are 8 or so. After that school bags, soccer and/or martial arts bags will test your trunk packing skills

Started the A4 this morning and it had a flashing CEL and one of the cylinders was misfiring, creating for a really rough and jittery idle.
Dat dependable German engineering in effect.

They are both older than 8, and the hints they would drop about how much roomier and more comfortable their mom's vehicles were convinced me that it was the right thing to do. I think I am done with performance cars in this lifetime, and will settle into my old age gracefully, lmao

dat OLED & exhaust

fascinating with the spritzing of water into the intake :slayer:

I wish they'd kept it tasteful like the E46 CSL. I've never seen one in person, but it looks terrible in that video.

I'm sure jet can come in and make it more 'murdered out' to fix things and leave with some 6th grade gay jokes - both part of his '90s vocabulary and accurately reflective of his intelligence.

Black wheels would actually look better. right?
as is, with satin black wheels. no tint or other crap.
Nah, I think the pattern is just trying too hard. Sure it'd look better in black but it'd look even better if that wheel pattern wasn't something out of a need for speed upgrade.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the non-competition wheels on the e9x and e46 m3s.

Style 135s on the ZHP are on point doe.

E60 m5 wheels are dece. E63 m6 wheels are sex.

Lol. In a few years they will be wishing they kept their mouths shut. Get their licenses and realize that now they only get to drive generic SUVs, when their dad used to have a fricking M3!
