In fact the shoes were delivered just as I was writing my last post. 75 hours from order to delivery, around the world, door to door. I'm very impressed.

Second pair. I've also got a pair of brown shell short wings on the Forest last for Epaulet. Very pleased with how both fit, which makes me also want to try a pair on the Rain last. I'm assuming anything narrower than Forest isn't going to work for me.

It might if you size up half, but that would probably work only for average or maybe narrow close to average feet. I love the Simpson look, but my feet are just right in rain.

I believe they do for calf, just not shell.

They still do Jodhpurs in calf or suede. But not in Shell unfortunately.

Nice! Normally I hate any type of loafer, but I must admit those are very woody. Lizard, or stamped calf?

I have the same sizing angst - mine are UK size 10 on the Rain last, normally I would have ordered a 9.5. If they prove too big, I'll have to decide whether to attempt wearing them with an insole, or just cutting my losses and listing them before they get any creases or scuffs.

Proof of the pudding will be tomorrow morning when I pick them up.

Not yet, but they just arrived today. Last time I got hit with customs, the notice came a week or two later.

The leather is is lizard. For an incredible 272.- Euros during the Farfetch sale.
I'm hopeful about sizing since Carminas lasts differ quite a bit in fit. As is proven by the fact that i wear a UK 9.5 in Oscar but a UK 10 in Forest and both fit quite well. And if I really can't make them fit with insoles, tongue pads and whatnot I can return them for free.

As of five minutes ago, they already are with the delivery courier.
