I see what you're saying. For me personally, I wouldn't care about that, because a similar affect will probably happen with use anyway.
Yeah I see what you're saying. I think it is all just based on what I am used to, last pair I received was cap toe oxford from C&J with no broguing which I would expect to sit straight across the shoe. Scrolling through photos on this forum it appears some shoes appear similar to mine.

The closest pair I have to that sit pretty straight though

could be just the angle of the photos but the right shoe looks like it is doing the exact same thing as my pair. I've decided it certainly isn't worth dealing with customer service and it is likely just a product of the last shape.

Thank you for the pictures!

Those are awesome and much like the boots offered by Kirby Allison’s GMTO.
I know the boots are beautiful, and likely have you mesmerized, but if you read my original post it will be illuminating.

Oh no! It took that long to get them? Hopefully you were compensated for the 2-year wait… Anyway, no chukka can outdo the Russian embossed leather; they look fantastic.

No it only took a little over 11 months, when Covid hit it kinda threw a monkey wrench into delivery dates. I received them Jan last year, they’ve been sitting in my shoe room untouched; it just took me awhile to work them into my rotation.
