I'm in need of some advice... I'm thinking of ordering this shoe as MTO, but with one weird request... omitting the toe medallion (for whatever reason, I'm just not a fan of medallions in general). Without the toe medallion, would this shoe look too weird/ugly? Opinions welcome...
personal taste... i prefer to have medallions or a toe cap... the large naked vamp doesnt really work for me unless its on chelsea boots

Yes. You have everything correct (assuming you're talking about Carmina's web shop), although I think shipping might be 40 euro.

How much would it be for a shoe that is not in their webshop, but in their collection? I want to pick up some suede monk straps :satisfied:

I should have been more clear. If they have your model in stock, but not on the webstore, there is no upcharge; however, if your model is not in stock and has to be MTO, there is the 30% MTO upcharge.

I see, thanks for clarifying. One more question. For most of the shoes, they show a variety of leathers available. Does that mean they make all of those, and thus there is no upcharge for MTO? Or do they only make the default one that is shown in the pictures?

I'd like to know as well. The answers to my questions thus far have either been one or two word affairs, or no answers at all. I don't understand this kind of customer service. Yes, my e-mails are short, to the point, with model #'s etc.

MTO up-charge is 30% unless they have the shoe/boot in stock ready to wear :)

No, those are not all necessarily available. The default displayed is not necessarily available, either.

Regarding customer service, I believe their volume of contacts has increased dramatically recently with their webstore and growing popularity, but it seems as though they haven't hired anybody else to cover this increase.

How long has it taken you guys to get a response back from Carmina through email? I emailed them asking about a direct order 2 days ago and havn't gotten a response.
