Can you give some examples of meals between 300-500 calories?

Traditionally in my country we have big lunches and big dinners. I am trying to move to 5-6 meals per day instead of 3. The one thing I obviously have to do is reduce the amount I eat for lunch and dinner. How about the rest 3-4 meals? By the way, I am not going to use any protein supplements.

a good suggestion is that it should include differnt colors and textures

mix of 1-3 of the following:
can of sardines
can of tuna
celery and peanut butter
cheese and pear/apple
handful of nuts
lentils and rice
soup
small amount of salami/ham
raisins
various fruit, can be accompanied by peanut butter, cheese, salami
fruit shake (without protien)
egg w or without cheese, vegetables, ham, salami
baby spinach salad

good point.

but,. honestly, lets say I am not trying to be argumentative - it seems that a basic theme that you have is that it sort of will come together naturally, eat normally, don't count callories or grams of protien, etc. at least that is how I interperet it. on the other hand, the vast majoirty of people in the west are much less healthy and much more overweight than would be the ideal here. if your "normal" meals leave you overweigth, then how does it help you to continue?

seriously, I'd like to understand how you see this.

^while I'd rather not mix in this debate , I think Globe makes a good point. For years I've also heard two things said by dieticians and md's.
1. A healthy diet consists of, among other things, 200g of vegetable and two pieces of fruit a day. and
2. If one eats regular and normal, healthy meals you don't need any vitamine supplements. Those just results in espensive urine.

Not many people I know, follow number 1...

Take your average meal, halve the portions. So you usually have a foot long sub for lunch, spread it between lunch and tea. Simple.

How about changing how many calories are consumed at the meals instead of worrying about pointless crap like how many meals are eaten?

I don't sit down to dinner with my family and have a damn protein shake. I'd be ashamed of myself.

You can't motivate yourself to do a little research via google - and you think you will have the willpower to succeed?

Good luck with that.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
