The 2 hour premiere was last night on Starz. Many people had already seen the first hour of the show thanks to a sneak preview the network showed about a month ago. Anyone watch it last night? Thoughts? I torrented it and will be watching sometime this weekend.

Got an advanced screening of the first two episodes, pretty good. Its certainly not the greatest show ever but it is a LOT of fun. Great visuals, lots of boobs too.

From the relatively small amount you've seen, how would you rate it compared to Spartacus and Rome?

Only seen one episode of Rome, never heard of Spartacus (as a TV show). Liked Rome but they are totally different shows

Haven't watched Spartacus. Rome was way, way better than Camelot; writing and direction for Rome was on a whole other level, and the production values were better as well. Hoping The Borgias will be more hype-worthy.

If any of you that haven't seen Spartacus, and you have Netflix, you can stream both seasons. I've been looking forward to seeing this. I'm hoping Netflix will end up streaming as it airs like they did with Spartacus: Gods of The Arena.

EDIT: Just found out they will but Starz is holding their shows up for 90 days from Netflix.

Can't touch Spartacus!! Maybe on level with The Pillars of the Earth mini series?

After watching the first two episodes I'm a little disappointed. Not at all a fan of the actor playing Arthur and the dialogue seems rather stilted and contrived. I think this is just going to be used to hold me over until Game of Thrones begins.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
