^_unfortunately not. Moynat only sells at their own stores in Paris and now London. They will ship to the U.S., but there is nowhere in ny to see the products first.

Dos anyone know if the Moynat Juste a Temps briefcase case is carried anywhere in New York City? I would like to see one in person on my next visit to New York. Thank you./quote]

According to this article, you may have just missed your chance, at this popup shop in NY . But you might want to follow up to see if it happened, and if so, if it's already closed.

Thank you for the information.

I'd never noticed the Berlutis before, but this and the Deux Jours I rather like.

I'm interested in this briefcase, still considering about these two colors:

http://www.maxwellscottbags.com/med...d6e5fb8d27136e95/l/a/laptop_bag_leather_6.jpg

http://www.maxwellscottbags.com/med...5d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/d/a/dark_laptop_case.jpg

I like the briefcase because there is a curvy line at the front, which design is rather unique and stylish to me.. And I heard that the leather quality is extremely good..

I have been searching for reviews about maxwell scott bags, and surprisingly not a single person has been dissapointed by the product or service, all if them are happy with the product.

Would someone please give some comments about it? Perhaps if anybody has owned the briefcase.. Or other alternatives with similar or better design will be appreciated.

Thanks..

Antonio Centano of Real Men Real Style did a 25 minute interview with a Maxwell Scott representative about buying a briefcase--focusing, not surprisingly, on their bags. You can find and download that interview here: http://www.realmenrealstyle.com/buy-leather-briefcase/ . He uses a Maxwelll Scott as part of a comparison here: http://www.realmenrealstyle.com/dif...-dress-business-briefcase-leather-bag-advice/ .It looks like that one is only 7.5 minutes. Though I have no personal experience with this manufacturer, I have not seen or heard a discouraging word about Maxwell Scott products.

Good luck.

Ran into this recently, picked it up.. has a light monogram, may have to see what I can do about that.. otherwise surprisingly in decent shape for as ancient as it probably is <1950s-1960s since the blind stamp doesn't say 'Made in France' and the strap has an L stamp, but that stamp might be the artisan's mark rather than a year stamp, but if it's a year stamp it's from 1956. No keys or clochette.

I think I'm either going to put a brass plate with my monogram, on top of the embossed monogram, or emboss over the embossing to flatten it out and then do a gold foil monogram? Other than that some general leather cleaning.

I have had this briefcase for about 6 years now, but it is one of my favorite ones.... It is a SAB curved top frame case in London Tan... I know SAB gets some criticism on here, but I have to say the finishing on this case is second to none that I own....

I especially love the green felt interior of the case.....

Because lack of accent on E?

And pre 70s, the blind stamps were without 'Made in France'

Any thoughts on a good approach to the covering the embossed monogram? Hermes said they can send it to be removed, and restore the briefcase in general, so I may do that.
