I can see why this is a hard bottle to find. To me, it tastes like a stronger Buffalo Trace even though it comes from Heaven Hill. There is a little bitterness on the finish, but its not too bad.

How is the flavor profile vs the Storyteller?Picked up a couple of bottles for some time up in Tennessee. Booker’s Mighty Fine Batch (and it is), and a store pick of one of the best bourbons out there, Garrison Brothers. Just under $300 all in, and the Booker’s might have been worth that alone View attachment 2150211
Yeah got it for $60. Not paying much more than that. But its good like Dickel BiBThese are usually a bit different from batch to batch. Some better than others. Not worth the $100 they ask nowadays. Was decent deal at $49-59

Honestly most bourbon is so close in flavor it usually ends up as some permutation of: brown sugar, vanilla, oak. Add cinnamon/cloves if it's rye-heavy. Once in a while I may throw in a fruit like cherry or orange but I think I'm just making it up at that pointI actually prefer this one, but my palate can’t do flavor profiles I’m afraid, never have been able to. I think I honestly lack the imagination
