No experience here, but yikes, at that price point you are not lacking in very well established and highly appealing alternatives in a suede chukka.
Well actually i'm looking at their waxy kudu in that style. But i have no idea how to attach pics.

But yea. It's a huge chunk of change, and i'm having trouble finding enough info here on SF and other sites.

Had the chance to handle it at a trunk show recently though. It's really quite exquisite.
