I'd second red wing, their main product was work boots until they expanded and they have tons depending on the work you'll be doing. I've used them as have most of the contractors/plumbers/electricians I've worked with.

Question can anyone give sizing advice on viberg? I'm thinking about getting the hopper boot on the 2005 last. I'm a 9UK standard width on all carmina, EG, and GG and 8.5F St.C.

Hi guys, I'm hoping you can help me make a decision on choosing a pair of boots. (This is a cross post from Meermin thread):


Ok can you guys give me an opinion as to which of these boots are nicer and which are a better value.

Meermin MTO (Linea Maestro) in dark brown Naturecalf with Norvegese welt. Commando stitched onto leather sole.

or......

Carmine Jumper Boots in brown grain calf on Victoria rubber sole.

I would like to make this decision in next 24 hours so I'm looking for as many opinions as possible quickly.

I prefer & like carmina and my vote is for carmina boot.

Carmina easily. I have Carmina jumper boots and love them. I admittedly do not have Meermins but from all I've heard, Carmina gives you better quality for the money.
