I'm always on the hunt for balmoral boots. They are not easy to come by these days. Looking forward to these from Bodileys made by Cheaney (and apparently designed by John Garner - Ex Edward Green)

I own them and can recommend them. Be aware they fit quite large.

The boots look quite wide in the picture.
What's you feeling so far? Can you compare with the other lasts like Hok or Rod?
Yes, they are a bit wide . I’m a 9.5 in Hiro and I sized down to 9 in hok which are a bit too short for me. I have narrow feet but a long heel to ball of foot measurement. These boot are a 9.5 and fit great with thick socks. The heel on negon is nice and snug when compared to hiro in the same size. I like the fit.

Hmmm. I'm normally a UK8/US9 and that's what I ordered. Should I have ordered half-size smaller?

Good grief. So good. Often surprised by the color variation on Horween shell. As you may recall, I own the Bourbon/Suede galways and the color on mine doesn't come close to the richness yours exhibit.
Thank you sir, long time no talk. Yes, I remember some of the inconsistent coloring. These are a few years old at this point and I have to say, EG's coloration has fluctuated a bit over the years
