C&J Harlech in Whiskey Shell Cordovan, four years old. After a long day, you can see them blooming.

My first White's and Quans.

Whites in waxy cinnamon and Quans in CXL.

The stitching work on the Quans is second to none. Courtesy of @bootreaper (IG handle).

Started my long weekend a day earlier. Went to visit Pablo Hadarits at Dimar Shoe Repair in Guelph. Had some shawarma for lunch to get energy for the task ahead.

I tore apart this pair of vintage Canadian made Gorilla boots. I thought these were made in the 60s or 70s. However a lot of the materials are synthetic which means they're likely manufactured in the 80s or 90s.

No midsole. Plastic heel rands. Poron footbed. Wood shanks. And lots of nails.

Pablo will be rebuilding with a 360 storm welt, veg tanned midsole, black EVA wedge, and kletterleft outsoles. They will be comfortable and usable in all conditions.

All it took was a little bit of rain, and everything is blooming, even the weeds. Alden NST’s to weather the storms.
