Hi guys can anyone recommend me a pair of mid-weight boot socks available worldwide that isn't too thin or too thick, somewhere between a dress and a hiking sock, with a little padding and/or support in the right places, and preferably Merino wool or similar? :)
The Orvis Invincible Extra socks are my go-to midweight socks. I wear them year-round.

Those look killer. Would you say that they can be worn with a suit? Is the shape elongated?

Personally I think they can be worn with a suit. The last is definitely more slim and elongated.

Just ordered a couple of pairs of these since they seem to be one of the few who are willing to ship outside US and Canada and specifically to my location. How is your experience with these? At par with Darn Tough etc ? They seem to be priced similarly.

There are still open slots in the Snowdon GMTO in burgundy Zug grain leather. So, anyone interested, please enter your name on the google MTO spreadsheet. There, you will also find photos of an older GMTO run. Please do not forget to mention if you favour a cap toe stitching or not. And consider the comment in the sheet regarding lacking water resistance in case of cap toe stitching.
We will need 6 participants. Currently there are 3 confirmed and one optional.

I purchased my first three-pack in 2012. They are still holding up well and comfortably (I'm wearing one of them now). I own 15 pairs, they are hands-down the only ones I consider for medium-thickness wool socks.

Never tried Darn Tough, but have and had SmartWool socks - Orvis has outlasted the SmartWool by leaps and bounds.
