Best shaving cream

The Trumper shaving soap is awesome - I've noticed that my blades aren't getting dull as quickly due most likely to the softer whiskers.

really? i found when i shaved the acne would migrate with the areas i shaved, but i guess it could've been something else. i dunno i think it's plausible the bacteria gets left behind on the blades, but i always rinse with hot water before i shave.
i bought proraso. is nice. leaves a nice feeling after

it's the act of shaving itself that is causing this. change up your cream/soap, blades, and/or technique. i like proraso myself but the coconut oil gave me breakouts. i use van der hagen glycerin soap right now.

Have taken to shaving using hair conditioner. Far less irritation, closer shave, goes faster imo.

I haven't been through all 11 pages to check if this has been suggested yet, but QED makes their own custom blend from natural essential oils that's well worth checking out.

I'm partial to the B&B myself.

Also, get a brush gents.

As much fun as it is to spend an afternoon scrubbing your shower or bathroom to remove rust rings, there are many other activities someone would prefer to do in their free time.

I gave up using shaving creams. I follow a very simple routine. Shower, apply my facial wash, shave, rinse. Also, years ago my dermatologist mentioned that glycolic acid makes the beard "soft as butter". So I use a glycolic acid cream in the evening and I find that it makes shaving in the morning much easier.

I use a shave oil - presently using origins - then I use clinique shave cream. I like clinique because it's odor free - I can't stand the fragrance in hte products of other brands.
For shave oil - I am thinking of switching to Kiel's or lab series or biotherm. anyone here with any experience of those brands?

I have been using a mixture of Tailor of Old Bond Street Avocado and Pre de Provence She Butter for my cream. Great scent, excellent lather, leaves my face looking great. I use aloe as a pre shave in the winter and Art of Shaving lemon oil in the summer. I get an excellent shave and minimal breakouts. Also the aloe as a pre shave in the winter really helps with the dry skin.
