Best kept secret in all of NYC … Angelo’s Shoe Repair in Park Slope. 268 14th Street Brooklyn. The guy knows his stuff. Resoled a pair of EG Dover and WESTON GOLF for me. Happy with the results on both. No Dainite only Vibram but who cares. Can source JR or Black Forest, can do toe taps, etc.

And less than a mile from my home. Nice.

Just to report that I have had good work done at Cesar's Shoe Repair in the West Village on 7th. The put a danite sole on a pair of Carminas. Made sure to try to match the colors (i.e. ordered a dark brown danite sole for me, took a week then). Good stitching, cork replaced, shoes conditioned. About $165. Will be dropping off another pair soon.
