I was at the San Francisco one...Do yourself a favor and save your money for something else. It was in San Fran for two weeks and was picked over. It is so full of crap merchandise i just walked. My .02 cents.

I just came back from the LA one. Not good at all. LA convention center south hall. $12 parking. Really messy crappy merchandise. I saw a $1500 cashmere armani sweater all mangled under all other types of cheap sweaters. Nothing is taken care of and there really isnt that great of a sale. I always say that the last 2 days are the best becasue they usually mark down most items an additonal 40%. So might as well wait for the last 2 days and see if you can catch an item or two.

On the chance of screwing myself out of suits in my size I saw a bunch of Isaia, Battestoni, and Lanvin suits. Other suits like Zegna, Hickey Freeman were abundant.

The Lanvin I like - does anyone have any experience with them - they seem quite well made.

How much were the Isaia's and Battestoni's going for? Both suits and sportcoats? Basic colors/patterns? I believe Lanvin's are well regarded, but not sure if they are fully canvassed and extent of the handwork.
