I've been enjoying the Blamo! podcast (and Patreon content) a lot and am wondering if there is any YouTube content that rises to approx. that level.

My quick YouTube searches only turn up crap a la "10 things women hate about how men dress" as well as a lot of stuff aimed at 20-somethings who have to be told not to buy a black suit and to polish their shoes.

Also happy to hear about other good podcasts!

The Armoury's YT channel is great. I feel like I've learned a lot about putting together coherent/tasteful outfits, plus there are some good deep dives into fabrics, suit construction, etc.

^^^ saw that coming.

the guys at the gazette are knowledgeable about certain aspects of menswear but their perspective on things and the hard lines they push on archaic rules ooze with snobbery. they have developed a very strong…identity…over there.

I once had a Gentlemen’s Gazette video pop up recommending that when thrifting you should rub shirt buttons against your teeth to help identify the material.

Chad park (b&tailor) has a YouTube channel in Korean.

Peccora Ginza has a YouTube channel in Japanese.

Hugo jacomet & Kirby. I find entertaining but Kirby, especially, has very little sartorial knowledge. Maybe he should stick to cigars. I don’t know about his knowledge there because I rarely smoke cigars these days. To be honest, and I have no evidence of this, but I get the sense Kirby is on the free suit bandwagon / paid sponsorship. I could be wrong though.

Permanent style / Simon Compton has a YouTube channel, he’s okay, I guess.

There’s also another guy whose channel is in Japanese. Forza style.

He spoke style is terrible. Very little knowledge sartorially.

Ditto gentleman’s gazette.

harry has is not bad but I prefer to wear less black clothes. James leung is not bad too and had collabs with harry has.

iron snail is great as well as carl murawaski and stridewise but I find the style is not that suited for me since i don't have very physical work to do.
