Me take on Foo. No way. I refuse to fight below my division. It’s not fair to my opponent.

Foo is pretty much a self rationalising self justifying AI Bot. With a dash of that occasionally cute American tendency to exceptionalism, combined with highly honed skills in fluffing up your own pillow.

Only a fool “takes on The Foo” as he/they/it are but an apparition on clothing forums that, if they didn’t exist we would surely have to invent it.

Otherwise how would we have the sheer beauty of male neurosis laid out in threads such as the Green Breast wallet, the “authentic” chambray or was it OCDB shirt set on fire, and who could forget the sartorial learnings of the 24 months late perfect pants from Napoli that didnt fit, or was it that our hero had put on weight?

Who can forget the insults from our Napoli Archangel of Perfect Ambrosia Pants, drunk at midnight in Japan, toward our original hero of the clompy one shoe.

Haha! Love it!

Good times... good times. Some real characters back in the day.

I know there's some pretty strong opinions on pjt here given the permanent style/timelessman reviews but found this recent showroom tour and shows a general shift in focus to casual wear and thought it might be of interest since there's not a lot of coverage of Australian mtm menswear:

Here's another one for a showroom tour for Remy (another mtm outfit, he used to work at PJT):

Disclaimer: I have fallen for the marketing and have recently ordered an mtm popover from pjt and will be checking out Remy for the shoes and mtm knitwear next time I'm in Sydney.

Yes, just sneakers and summer walk lookalikes (in the vid). I can't afford summer walks so interested in Remy's version which I believe are under 400. Want to try them one first of course!

The informale linen is 360g and I've worn those in 40 degree temps with no issue at all, I don't think it will be a problem. Linen at that weight usually just means thick yarns, but still an open weave.

Hi folks. How was your xmas?

Found a pair of Julius Marlow with goodyearwelted construction a couple of months ago. Felt like changing the colour during the break.

If anyone could guess when the pair was made, how much originally, please let me know more info. m(_)m
I dont think they make such good shoes anymore.

Jacket looks very nice, although a suede leather jacket isn't the usual beach attire!

Not sure when they were made but I'd hazard a guess that it was probably 25-30 years ago, and perhaps even more. I don't think that Julius Marlow have really made anything decent for decades.
