I am going to re-submit my question since it was buried due to the moderators' slow confirmation time.
I accidentally ordered the wrong dress shirt: I placed an order for one with fine stripe motif instead of a plain light-blue one. I am now considering whether or not I should correct mistake, or if such a dress shirt would be an excellent addition to my wardrobe - which, at the moment, only contains plain, motif-less dress shirts.

I am worried that it looks too much like a pajamas, and that it will stand out too much at my corporate place of employment where tie and jacket are obligatory. I am starting there after New Year's, so I don't actually know how "brave" the other employees are in terms of dress shirts.
What do you guys think?
Yes, I've had this done many times.
Depends on how much you want to let out. There is usually about 1 to 1.5 inches of extra fabric built into the side seams. Every jacket model is different.
I bought an ISAIA jacket size 48 (normally i wear 50), measurement seems OK but the waist. Thank you very much for the quick and clear answer.
Merry Christmas,
Andrew
Going to do a blind buy from Herring shoes
Which of these Church lasts (73, 93, 100) looks most similar to the Crockett Draycott on the far right?
My foot needs a very wide toebox, especially in the small toe area. Draycott fits nicely, no blisters.
It looks to my eyes like the 93 last is the narrowest.
Width order goes: 100 > 73 > 93
I've been looking for a good Navy Birdseye Suit but I am having some problems finding some. I see Brooks Brothers doesn't have one, I was hoping so with that sale. Any recommendations?
Whats the big deal with 3 button suits? Just wanted gain knowledge from this area
Thanks... Can't I get the tailor to make it look like a 2 button though? Have some suits on sale at my store and was thinking bout grabbing a dark gray 3 button and a 2 button navyThey're okay if you are tall, since they make the wearer look shorter. They're not as classic and timeless as the 2-button.
