Wow that is VERY nice...Chocolate Daltons with some flannel today
When does the Shoe Bank sale start? Today? I've been eyeing a pair of Bourbon Daltons.
I'm a 8.5E in the 5 last. I purchased a Brooks Brothers 8.5E MacNeil 7 and it was too tight. Do the BB versions fit any different than the AE models? Wanted to order some MacNeils and wondered whether to size up, nowhere near me sells AE.
Thanks!
Think I saw the 14th.When does the Shoe Bank sale start? Today? I've been eyeing a pair of Bourbon Daltons.
Think I saw the 14th.
Edit: Isn't AE closing out all bourbon shoes? If so, I wonder if the current closeout sale (you can sort for these models on shoebank site) will be same or better than the flash sale.
That is the weirdest thing I have seen yet...Do not know anything about - thanks for pointing it out-appears they were for sale at one point at 6pmAny information on the Allen Edmonds (or is it Rancourt) HAYDEN?
Here is a link to a pair on eBay:

At first I assumed that the seller did not know what they were talking about, but now I'm not sure.
The shoes are definitely labeled HAYDEN by AE on the footbed. But the soles are Lactae Hevea, and AE does not use this sole on any other shoe AFAIK. Rancourt, however, uses this sole frequently. Most importantly, the style of the shoe is a Rancourt style (which I own):

So what's the story with these shoes? I wonder if AE flirted with the idea of having handstitched shoes made by Rancourt rather than in the Dominican Republic?
