I own both.

Go with the Strands first.

But can't go wrong with either.

I commented in this thread a few months ago that my least comfortable pair of shoes are Allen Edmonds.

However, I recently realized that my MOST comfortable pair of shoes are ALSO Allen Edmonds.

I don't know what that means...

But I thought it was worth mentioning...

They were called Malverns but are no longer made. They were not discontinued long ago and if you hunt around you can still find them for cheap. I got a pair a month ago for $200 on 6pm.com

I believe Dundee is always shell cordovan but there are/have been calf/suede chukkas in different names like Amok for the suedes, etc.
