These are all amazingly good. I’ll get that cherry for sure and the denim likely also. Tan is too monochrome for me. Olive is good, but just not as much my style.

Good photos, I will definitely look to get a couple, olive and cherry, maybe the blue.

Testing out the Mercer Streets on carpet. 8.5 is making the toe/length noticeable so I’ll try them a bit more and decide. Can’t say I have any loafers that fit great.

Don’t mind the blue socks I just wanted something thin that wasn’t OTC.

Well I finally placed my order after flip flopping a number of times.

Thanks to Ashley and the Nashville AE team I have my TS order in. Was a tough decision but finally decided on a Loden Hamilton with Olive Dainite, antique edge and reverse split welt. Now the wait begins...

Mine were used and an idiot cobbler “refinished” the uppers when he was not asked to do so. Then they stripped them again to make them better, but the finish was not the same. I also added eyelets and stripped the edges. I eventually sold them, like so many other shoes I went through between 2014 and 2017.

Early in the afternoon a wrestling or boxing ring was erected. A little free lucha libre and a hockey game almost broke out.

Very kid friendly and very silly. The entertainers spent a lot of time with the audience after the bouts.

With the lucha libra it looks like you're in Guadalajara. Just left there yesterday and in Penjamo, Guanajuato for the day. Leave for DF tomorrow.

I have been saying for years @audog, those are the pair of shells I would own if I could only own one pair. Just an incredibly beautiful, versatile, and well-executed pair of footwear.

I need to sneak in my order still. Gonna go with a snuff Grayson, antique flat welt, and either single v-tread or single butyl sole.

I can just call any retail, non-outlet location, right? Or can I call an outlet too? If I can, I’d like to give my business to Charleston for all their help lately!

I was hoping for suede Bradleys, but AE discontinued the model.
Shell isn’t a bad consolation prize:

They are second but are in excellent shape. One toe stitch is slightly off but more than acceptable. However, it looks like there is some slight tearing.
Does anyone have experience with this? It’s not in a high stress area so I wouldn’t think it would be a problem:

Only a few wears in and these Leeds (on Dainite) are so stable and comfy.

Actually that was in Jocotepec on Lake Chapala. We are staying in Centró Guadalajara at the historic Hotel San Francisco Plaza.
