This is what I thought of as I read your offer. Im thinking the suggested $20 per each sale makes more sense!
Ahhhhh.."temporary". Now I think I know why my new blender doesn't work. Be right back.

I have a pair of those on order from the RDA with a sole-change to JR. I was hoping against hope that they'd be here before I leave for Japan on Saturday, but guessing they'll be waiting for me whwen I get back. I'm hoping for no burnishing actually, but those look great.

Yeah - all the possums I've ever "met" were pretty grumpy.
Possums, while a necessary part of the ecosystem, are a pain. We have 10 or so new dead possums on the road to town every week. Gives the Vultures and Crows something to do though.

I'm always confused (and I'm serious here) by how I Never see a vulture except when it is on a carcass. I mean, where do they go inbetween meals? Not just flyin' around like a flock of geese. They're pretty big so I would notice. I get that they can smell the rotting meat? from afar but from where, exactly? These are the kinds of burning questions I ponder. Have a long google list like that. Will be very busy in retirement. Sad.

They are overhead constantly, here in Ohio. Kind of majestic, actually. They soar on thermals a lot, it seems. Looking for dead things, I guess.

Hmm, I have been told multiple times by eBay that I needed to have the carrier receive written signature - otherwise, as a Seller it was my responsibility to ensure the package made it into my customer's hands. If my carrier did not ensure it was received, I was not doing my due diligence. It was recommended each time that I should have the package insured and require signature if I wanted to avoid this in the future.

Absolutely FALSE.

As long as there is tracking on the parcel and the tracking shows delivered you are in the clear if the buyer does not "receive" it. Signature is NOT required. Though it may be a good idea based on value/irreplacibility of the item.

If the package arrives LATE (after eBays "guaranteed on or before by" date) then:
  • If you met the handling time you specified for that item and it arrives after the above date, EBAY takes care of any reimbursement to the buyer.
  • If you DID NOT meet the handling time you specified for that item AND it arrives late, then YOU are responsible to make right with the buyer.
Feel free to post your question on the Buying and Selling on eBay thread on StyleForum.

Ya know, what I've thought in the past were hawks overhead could also have been vultures. Upon googling, I've learned their styles of flight are similar but still a little different so perhaps next time I can make an informed identification. Thanks.

I can't stand all the sneaky, disgusting creatures that swoop in and try to take advantage of a bad situation (roaches, vultures, hyenas, etc.). I once rented a dumpy apartment in Texas many years ago and I would turn on the light in the kitchen at night, suddenly find dozens of German roaches looking for anything to survive. Just yesterday, a friend of mine received a text from an unknown person reading, "Mr. ___, I will buy your fire damaged property as is. Please call me." Vultures can be people too. However, perhaps I'm like a vulture when it comes to look for deals on clearance shoes. Does buying the AE University for $97 make me a vulture?
