Good collection of black and color 8 shell boots and shoes.
Really worth visiting when in Paris and meeting Pierre and Charles.

Some nice new ML boots posted on Moulded Shoe Tumbler. No EEE of course but one pair of Shell and one pair of calf.

Any ideas on how much Moulded is charging for these boots?

Beautiful stuff again from Anatomica but how much are you willing to pay for Alden RTW?? I just don't think there's a strong value proposition at close to $1000 USD for a pair of Alden RTW. I've repeated it a few too may times here but once you hit that level, you need to consider bespoke options like Maftei and other AH makers. I'm paying about $1000 USD shipped for Maftei and the fit is FAR superior and construction and materials simply not comparable.

Alden ML Shell cordovan should be priced equivalent to Leather Soul and Leffot custom make-ups on other lasts. Buying from Japan and Europe is a big fat ripoff.

Well it's about damn time. Now they need to be able to order rare shell colors.

Stopped by Moulded Shoe and picked up a pair of the 54321, color #8 v-tips. I always love that shop, but they have said that Alden has decided they can have shell cordovan modified last again, and they are going to definitely be getting more models in. Of course, I wouldn't hold my breath for any rare shell any time soon, but we can hope.

Love these guys so I hope they sell a ton of shoes and stay in business forever even though I'm no longer a regular customer.. I just save up for more Maftei shoes

I guess that's about right... Seems that most Alden shops are charging over $700 for Shell shoes and up to high 700s for Shell boots. I think that's a hell of a lot of money for what you're getting but with the price seems in range with other retailers for sure.
