I beleive that the prce would be the same as for the rigids in the other styles, ~$275 retail.

First of all, I'd like to say that I'm tired of waiting on these jeans!! Secondly, from everything I've read, these jeans are going to be a slimmer cut than typical 5EP denim, but how much slimmer?? My straight down rigids are pretty slim, as are my low down boot. Are they going to be nut-huggers, or am I going to have to size up??

I didn't find either of these jeans to be anywhere near slim. I sized down two waist sizes on the LDB rigid and after a few months of wear I could have sized down more. It's a nice, comfortable fit though.

I sized down 1 in the straight down---they're not nut-huggers, but they are slim(on me at least) same thing with the ldb's. I just don't want to end up with something uncomfortable or unwearable

HITMAN wears 32 in all 5EP jeans. I assure you he would not let me maKe these too slim or uncomfortable. It is just a smaller seat ( back ) slightly lower rise...and the block is based off of LDB with a STRAIGHT leg. Anyway we still have to see another proto sample and Fok will be there..don't worry...Godmother is on it.

From what I understand, the new jean is intended that you shouldn't have to size down for shrinkage, so you're probably going to want to get your size or size up 1... I guess we'll see when they're out though!

To state the obvious, but when you size down one, jeans suddenly become slimmer

The typical 5EP rigids are sized up one to account for shrinkage. The resins or dark worns are true to size. So, sizing down will make them slimmer.

For example, I take a size 30 in nearly everything, including the Resin LDB, and I take a 29 in the LDB rigid. But a 29 in the resin would be too tight on me. I plan to wear a a size 30 in the 5EPxSF jeans.

I should add that I will post measurements of all the sizes once they are delivered. i.e. I will post measurements taken from the actual jeans. I will include a few extra measurements than normally given, including the seat, which will give a better indication of fit through the top block than the rise and thigh measurements alone would give.

Everything will be first come, first served. Preorders are a not really an option, since there are always (because of the inherent nature of production) fewer pairs than ordered, and I don't want to take someone's money and not be able to fill the order. There are only 8, yes 8 pairs of the longer inseam being made, about 2 or 3 in popular sizes. The only place to get the longer inseam will be Styleforum.
